Cynthia McCahon is a creator, writer, and director developing original narrative television series and film projects that explore what makes us human. She’s currently in development on the narrative TV drama series The Recipient and the short film What Happened To Claire through Essential Matter.

Her experience in television includes multiple Los Angeles–area regional Emmy nominations. As a solo startup founder, Cynthia built a successful tech company from the ground up, navigating the exact world The Recipient inhabits and returning to television with a story only that journey made possible.

She now focuses on creator-driven television and film projects developed with an innovator’s imagination and a founder’s discipline.
